At CityBox Luggage, our automated, self-service lockers are designed to accommodate virtually any personal item you need to stow during your day in Bucharest. Whether you’re sightseeing in Bucharest Old Town, catching a late-night train, or simply freeing up your hands, you can securely store:

How to do it
Look for the iconic wooden gate of St. Patrick Pub at Smârdan 16 street, with a large Guinness sign above the entrance , our CityBox locker is tucked just inside that gate.
Select an available locker in the size you need.
At the adjacent payment terminal, tap your card or contactless device to complete payment.
Place your items inside and close the door until it clicks shut.
Return anytime (24/7) to the kiosk, enter your PIN (or scan your QR code) at the locker keypad, and retrieve your belongings.

How to choose a box: Use the sizes below as a guide — you’ll pick the exact locker size at the kiosk when you arrive. Availability updates in real time.
Small — 62 × 55 × 35 cm
• First hour: 10 RON
• Each +15 min: 2.50 RON
Large — 62 × 55 × 60 cm
• First hour: 15 RON
• Each +15 min: 3.75 RON
Extra Large — 62 × 55 × 92 cm
• First hour: 25 RON
• Each +15 min: 6.25 RON

Where do I find baggage storage?
Our CityBox automated luggage lockers are located at Strada Smârdan 16, Sector 3, Bucharest — just inside the iconic wooden gate of St. Patrick Pub (look for the large Guinness sign above the entrance).
Once you enter the gate, you’ll see our 24/7 self-service kiosk ready to store your bags securely.

CityBox lockers operate on a pay-as-you-go basis:
- First hour: prepaid at deposit (M, L, XL, see price table above)
- Additional time: billed in 15-minute increments (M, L, XL, see price table above)
- Maximum duration: 48 hours. After this period, unclaimed items are considered abandoned per our Terms & Conditions.
This mainly depends on the size of the locker you choose:

The Medium (M) locker comfortably accommodates a backpack and a small bag or two large backpacks;
- The Large (L) locker comfortably fits two small bags and two backpacks/purses;
- The Extra Large (XL) locker comfortably accommodates one large suitcase, one small bag, and three backpacks.
For greater accuracy, the lockers available and their respective sizes are described on the page of each deposit point.
All transactions are cashless and completed at the on-site terminal:
- Accepted methods: Visa, MasterCard and contactless mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
- Simply tap or insert your card, confirm the amount, and your locker will unlock.
Your receipt shows your locker number and PIN/QR code, so it’s essential for retrieval. If lost:

- Your locker number (if known)
- Approximate drop-off date & time
- A scan or photo of a valid ID
- A 400 LEI service fee applies to generate a new access code.
- We’ll send you a fresh PIN/QR securely by email.
Access your luggage around the clock:
- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Use your PIN code or QR code at the locker keypad to reopen it anytime—no staff assistance needed.
Most likely, something got stuck between the lock and the door when it was closed, or you might have placed more items than the locker's actual capacity, slightly forcing the door shut.
Don't worry, ring our support and follow the instructions provided to unlock the locker.
